Yes. All participants are required to agree to a Participant Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk before participating in a tour.

After booking, the person who made the reservation will receive a waiver link to share with the rest of their group. Waivers are completed online prior to the run.

Tours are designed for runners who are comfortable running at an easy, conversational pace for several miles, with short stops along the way.

If you regularly run a few miles comfortably, this experience should feel approachable and enjoyable.

Public tours are run at an easy, conversational pace—typically around a 10:00–11:30 min/mile pace between stops. We regroup at monuments and natural stopping points so the group stays together throughout the run.

Private tours can also be adjusted to the group’s preferred pace.

That’s completely okay. This is not a race, and the route includes planned pauses for storytelling and orientation.

If you need to slow down briefly or stop, we’ll adjust as a group. The goal is to experience the National Mall together, comfortably.

This is an experience-focused running tour. We move through the National Mall at an easy pace with short, meaningful stops to share the stories and significance of the monuments.

The emphasis is on place, perspective, and movement—not lectures or exertion.

Tours run rain or shine.

In cases of unsafe conditions—such as lightning or severe weather—the tour may be delayed, adjusted, or canceled. If a cancellation is necessary, you’ll be notified as early as possible and issued a full refund.

Yes. The National Mall is an active civic space, and routes or specific stops may occasionally be adjusted due to events, construction, or temporary closures.

If adjustments are needed, we’ll adapt the route thoughtfully to maintain the overall distance, pacing, and experience. The focus remains on moving through the Mall intentionally and experiencing its monuments in context.

Any significant changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

Groups are kept small—up to 6 runners—to ensure a personal experience and smooth pacing.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Yes. Private runs are available for individuals, couples, or small groups who prefer a more personalized experience.

Private runs can be scheduled on request and customized around timing, pacing, or specific interests. If you’re traveling solo, with friends, or planning something special, a private run can be a great option.
