About This Tour

This approximately five-mile loop follows mostly flat paths across the Mall, starting and finishing at the Washington Monument and connecting the Lincoln Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, the MLK Jr. Memorial, and the United States Capitol.

Along the way, we’ll keep an easy, conversational pace with short stops at the monuments to share their stories. You’ll take in the heart of the National Mall—and still have the rest of your day ahead of you to enjoy the city.

A few things runners often ask before booking

  • Yes. The run is designed for a wide range of runners. We move at an easy, conversational pace with planned regrouping points, so the experience stays welcoming and unhurried.

  • The pace is relaxed and conversational — typically around an easy jog, not a workout or race. The focus is on flow through the landscape, not speed.

  • That’s expected. We stay together as a group and make planned stops at the monuments along the route. This is a shared experience, not a test of fitness.

  • Comfortable running shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a small water bottle. You may also want to bring a phone for photos during stops. You don’t need to carry anything else.

  • Tours run rain or shine.

In cases of unsafe conditions—such as lightning or severe weather—the tour may be delayed, adjusted, or canceled. If a cancellation is necessary, you’ll be notified as early as possible and issued a full refund.
